Introduction

Let's get some things straight first. This....is not.....a tree hugger blog. This is not an evironmental blog or anything of that sort. Might discuss some environmental policies or things of that nature but that's just coincidence. Why did I name it Earthy (adjective meaning Of, consisting of, or resembling earth) Ruminations (Verb meaning To turn a matter over and over in the mind.)? Well I did so because I wanted it to be about things that happen on the World stage as I know it....and how they are chewed up over and over in my head. So there.

It will be sort of an everyday blog that doesn't fit in the same realm as my office blog (The Center of It All) or any other blogs I may be a part of. It will more than likely contain posts about politics, people, and the way I see things. I'm not always right (shocking I know) so if you read something you don't agree with...please feel free to write anything you wish back to me and who knows...you may even change my mind. I'm a computer guy so it's all about logic and facts for me. If you can put enough facts in front of me that say one thing whilst I say another, you just may sway my point of view. Sometimes logic gets in the way of facts though, hence the struggle I live with everyday. Well onward and upward right?
